Print Sale

I am selling a selection of prints (some matted and some matted and framed) to raise money for my daughter Beth’s kindy fees and hopefully buy a new printer to replace the one that finally died after almost 10 years of use.

The “matted & framed” prints are from my Tibet series. These were my artist proofs that were used for my 2008 No Unsacred Places group exhibition. The “matted” prints were taken in Tibet, Yunnan & Sichuan. All the photographs were taken on traditional black & white film using my Leica M6TTL and mostly a fixed 35mm lens. I think 1 or 2 were taken using a fixed 75mm lens. The prints were mostly printed and matted between 2006 and 2008. They are all still in very very good condition. Some of the matt boards might have a bit of foxing (light brown spots) here and there but nothing very big and noticeable.

Check out the following Facebook Album for details and pricing on the individual images that are available for sale –> PRINTS FOR SALE. If you are interested in buying or enquiring about any of the images, drop me a note via the contact me link. Thank you!

Jacqueline’s 1st Birthday Party

Last month, Jacqueline celebrated her 1st birthday together with family and friends. I documented her baptism last year and had previously photographed her elder brother, Jordan’s 1st and 2nd birthday parties. Their parents, James and Patricia, have been extremely hospitable to my family, having invited my daughter Beth over to their place to swim and play with Jordan a couple of times. We very much appreciate their friendship and generosity through the years; and so when Jacqueline turned 1, it was a special privilege for my wife Laura, Beth and my baby son, Daniel to be invited to the party too.

The party featured a number of fun activities for the children. There was a ball pit with slide, a bouncy castle, a toddler grassy play area, and Zoomoov animal rides! All the children (and I suspect adults too who accompanied their younger children on the Zoomoov animal rides; I know I would have gone for the rides with my daughter too if I were not covering the event) had a screaming good time, especially in the bouncy castle which was a party favourite. The celebration’s finale was a beautiful Princess cake for the birthday girl.

The following is a selection of photographs from the party.

NGO photo documentary section has been added

I have added a non-governmental organisations (NGOs) documentary photography section that features photographs from various projects that I have had the privilege of being involved with in the past.  Besides street photography, the genre of documentary photography was the main catalyst that started me on my photographic life over 10 years ago. I still hold many of these NGO documentary projects close to my heart. They tend to be amongst the most meaningful work I have done.
