Peter, Elizabeth & Joshua’s Family Shoot

Late last year, I had the pleasure of doing a family shoot for Peter, Elizabeth and their son Joshua who had just turned 3. Elizabeth was about 8 months pregnant with their second child Danielle who was born less than a month after the shoot.

My wife Laura, who has known Peter & Elizabeth for many years, and my daughter Beth joined us at the Singapore Botanic Gardens for the shoot. Beth had lots of fun running around, helping to hold Joshua’s balloons and was pretty much drenched in perspiration by the end of the shoot (see the following photo).

Erik, Christine & Nathaniel’s Family Shoot

Another year has almost gone by and we celebrate Christmas tomorrow. I would like to wish all readers of this blog a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I got to know Erik & Christine when I covered their wedding. Earlier this month, I did a shoot for them together with their 17-month old son, Nathaniel. Christine had wanted some family photos for the Christmas card that they were going to send to their loved ones and friends this year.

The shoot was done in their home as well as at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. After the recent wet spells, we were very fortunate and blessed to experience beautiful weather when we shot outdoors at the Botanic Gardens.

The following are a selection of photos from Erik, Christine & Nathaniel’s family shoot.

Trey’s 6th Birthday Party

The majority of children’s birthday parties I cover are of babies celebrating their first or second birthday. As I was reviewing the birthday party shoots that I had done this year, Trey’s birthday party stands out as one of the more unusual ones. He was celebrating his 6th birthday and had a bowling party as the main activity for the children attending. I had never photographed bowling before and found the whole experience to be extremely interesting. There was also a really good face and hand painter who added to the party’s fun factor.

The following are a selection of photos from Trey’s party (he is the boy featured in the first image of the photo gallery below).
